3DS hacking has changed completely, we no longer have to setup emuNAND after downgrading to 9.2 and can go straight into Arm9loaderhax setup instead. Not only that, but Arm9loaderhax just got ten times easier and quicker to setup than before. Arm9loaderhax is the best kind of setup you can have on your 3DS and loads up CFW as soon as you turn on the 3DS, 100% boot rate.

This will be a guide on how to migrate from Menuhax + EmuNAND, to just Arm9loaderhax. You just basically setup Arm9loaderhax as usual, but have to do one extra step in between. But in the end you'll have all your emuNAND data on sysNAND.

These steps are written by Plailect, his guide is the best you'll ever find for setting up A9LH. Don't be overwhelmed by all the text, you only need to follow from where it says "Instructions" on each part.

! You need to be on sysNAND to perform each step

    Old 3DS Steps
    1) Launching Decrypt9
    2) 2.1.0 ctrtransfer
    3) Installing Arm9loaderhax

(During the Arm9loaderhax installation steps, stop on section IV and follow "Moving EmuNAND")

    New 3DS Steps
    1) Setting up Menuhax
    2) Launching Decrypt9
    3) 2.1.0 ctrtransfer
    4) Installing Arm9loaderhax

(Stop on section IV and follow "Moving EmuNAND")

*Use browserhax on section II of Installing Arm9loaderhax (Holding L+R on home menu, scanning THIS QR)

Once you're done with "Moving emuNAND", you can ignore section V, VI, and VII.

That's all, you're now setup with Arm9loaderhax and no longer have or need emuNAND. Enjoy your ultimate setup!

Yeah I posted it there, but people complained that it was more of a guide on how to use a guide so I requested to have it removed. It's more of an informational post to show that this is possible, and which steps to take. it's aimed towards extremely new users who haven't touched their 3DS in ages but still have emunand setup.

    Hi!
I'm trying to use your guide but, to be honest, I'm stuck in the first step, as i don't know how to access sysnand.
I have an old 3ds with emunand + rxtools.
In rxtool options, by pressing "X" to reboot is sysnand, results in a red screen (at the bottom one).

    Thanks

    edit: nvm

Would you mind giving a further explanation as to what someone with a new 3ds should do with the ctrtransfer?

Like rebooting is still fine right?
